There are multiple steps needed to create a custom design for your home landscape. The first step is to meet and fill out a questionnaire. This is followed by site measurements and analysis. Then a concept is drafted and reviewed with you. With your input, we produce the final design and all of the necessary design documentation!

There are multiple kinds of analysis that is performed, depending on what type of work we are doing. Topography maps, soil surveys, and an understanding of how foot traffic or sight lines are affected is essential to this process.

The concept phase begins with charettes that are moved into our design software. We typically draft more than one concept so you have more than one option to pick from. Every aspect is moveable in this phase, so your input is essential!

Using your input, we then make edits to the concepts as requested. Once those are made, we send you a final concept for approval. Once approved, we draft all of the necessary design documentation, such as a master plan, a hardscape plan, and a softscape plan, etc.
