Irrigation is necessary in all new landscapes. This can be accomplished via hand-watering, but it is typically best to use an irrigation system. Irrigation is also common on lawns and other plantings that demand a large volume of water.

Drip-line irrigation is the simplest, most common, and most cost-effective method of irrigation. This is used in new plantings and often in planting beds.

Turf requires a high water volume to remain green and healthy. There is also the possibility of a fertigation system which fertilizes the lawn at the same time it is being watered.

This form of irrigation is typically composed of tall pop-up irrigation in order to cover the entire bed space, even if there are tall shrubs.
