Softscapes are the primary means of envoking an ambiance in the landscape. Any softscape style is possible with us, though most fall under the following 3 types of landscape:

An ornamental landscape is what would be considered a “typical landscape.” This can include any plant so long as it is not invasive and can grow in our USDA zone.

Edible landscapes use plants that possess not only an aesthetic quality but also produce edible products. This type of design is one of our specialties.

The definition of a “native” plant is somewhat debated in the horticultural world, but we use the National Wildlife Federation as a guidline.
